GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By placing an order with Liesential, you agree to the general terms and conditions below. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions In these general terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:

  • Seller: Liesential, the natural or legal person offering products to consumers at a distance.

  • Consumer: Any natural person who is not acting in the exercise of a profession or business and who enters into a distance contract with the seller.

  • Cooling-off period: The period within which the consumer can exercise their right of withdrawal.

  • Right of withdrawal (return right): The consumer's option to withdraw from the distance contract within the statutory period.

  • Day: A calendar day.

3. Scope These general terms and conditions apply to every offer from Liesential and to every agreement concluded between Liesential and the consumer. By placing an order, the consumer declares to agree to these terms and conditions. Deviations are only valid if agreed upon in writing in advance.

4. Prices and payments All prices on the webshop are displayed in euros (€), including 21% VAT and excluding shipping costs, unless otherwise stated. Any shipping costs will be shown separately during checkout. Payment is made via the available and secure payment methods offered during the checkout process. Orders for which full payment is not received may be automatically cancelled.

5. Shipping and delivery For detailed information on shipping, delivery times, and delivery conditions, please refer to our "Shipping & Delivery" page. This page forms an integral part of these general terms and conditions.

6. Cooling-off period and right of withdrawal The consumer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 calendar days after receipt of the order without giving any reason. The consumer must inform Liesential of this within this period. The consumer then has another 14 calendar days to return the products. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the model withdrawal form available on our website can be used. More information about the return procedure can be found on our "Return Policy" page, which forms an integral part of these terms and conditions.

7. Statutory warranty All consumer goods are covered by the statutory warranty of conformity of 2 years, as provided for in the Belgian Code of Economic Law. If a product turns out not to be in conformity with the agreement, the consumer is entitled to repair or replacement. If this proves impossible, the consumer may be eligible for an appropriate price reduction or termination of the agreement. The consumer must report a defect to Liesential within a reasonable period after discovery.

8. Force majeure Liesential cannot be held liable for delays or non-fulfillment of obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (such as transport delays, strikes, or technical malfunctions).

9. Complaints Images are for illustration purposes only. Colours may differ slightly due to screen settings; minor colour differences do not constitute grounds for a complaint. Do you have a complaint? Please contact us by e-mail. We aim to handle every complaint quickly and correctly.

10. Applicable law and disputes All agreements between Liesential and the consumer are exclusively governed by Belgian law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent Belgian courts.
